In June, reports had begun circulating over yet another reality survival program involving Team B. Two months later, YG officially launched the concept of Mix and Match to the public, confirming Team B's participation. More details about the show were announced during the official press conference held on September 2, along with the introduction of the new trainees, Jung Jinhyeong, Jung Chanwoo and Yang Hongseok. The format of the show would involve following iKON, YG Entertainment's upcoming boy group, on their road to debut. In addition to a new name, Yang Hyun Suk also revealed that B.I, Bobby and Kim Jinhwan were set members of iKON, leaving the remaining 3 members of Team B to battle for one of 4 places alongside the trainees. iKON's official line-up would be determined by a voting system, with 30% by the judges, made of YG artists, and 70% by the viewers during the course of Mix and Match airing. Voting began in and throughout October, starting with official fanmeetings held in Japan, China and Korea on the 5th, 11th and 17th, followed by the on-site voting during the third and final match by both attendees on the 22nd, and ended with online voting held between the 30th and 31st.
On November 1, YG released an announcement schedule to reveal the 4 members joining the iKON line-up, with the last member scheduled to be revealed during the ninth episode of Mix and Match. Junhoe was the first to be revealed from the potential candidates on the 4th. On the following day, Yunhyeong was revealed as the second member, officially making him the 5th member of iKON. On the 6th, Chanwoo was announced as the sixth member of iKON. At 11PM KST, the final episode for MIX & MATCH was aired, revealing iKON's final member to be Donghyuk.

When Gi Jae-myeong and In-ha came into conflict during the investigation, Gi Jae-myeong told In-ha, "You should stay out of this. You should do whatever it takes to get out of this. I am taking down your mother. I want to take this fight seriously, but I get to have too many thoughts and things are getting complicated if you're still in this".
But, In-ha said, "Don't' care about me. Don't even hesitate. I'm like you. I myself don't think she should be a news reporter. As you said, I want to show it to the world. A sneak preview of the next episode wherein Jackson will get to meet his mother who visited him was shown on the December 16 airing of “Roommate.” In the preview, Jackson was seen bursting into tears at the sight of his mother.

On this episode, the members of “Roommate” are having a Christmas party andPark Jin Young brought with him Jackson’s mother who came from Hong Kong to help Jackson relieve himself from loneliness. Park Jin Young sought the help of Jackson’s roommates Lee Dong Wook and Jo Se Ho to surprise Jackson. He even made a video message for Jackson’s mother to make it believable that she cannot come to the program.

Towards the end of the program, the friends and family of the other cast of “Roommate” have appeared: Jo Se Ho‘s parents, Young Ji‘s mother and older sister, Ryohei’s friend, and Lee Dong Wook‘s younger sister and brother-in-law. Description
Sang-Jin (Han Suk-Kyu) is a music teacher at an Arts High School in the small city of Gimcheon. He was once a promising opera singer in Italy, but a tumor in his throat ended his singing career. On a weekend, Sang-Jin drives out to the Gimcheon Arts High School from his home in nearby Daegu City to meet with the principle and a new transfer student. Before getting to the school, Sang-Jin pulls into the parking lot of a highway rest stop area. While parking his car, he scratches a black car parked next to him. Three men get out of the parked black car and threaten Sang-Jin. Then a young teen named Jang-Ho (Lee Je-Hoon) slowly steps out of the car. Sang-Jin becomes frightened out of his wits, but the young teen Jang-Ho ignores him and walks straight to his old beat up car. He peers inside the music teacher's car and listens to the opera music playing out of the teacher's car stereo. Jang-Ho then orders his three men to get the man's driver's license and then let him go. Later at the principle's office, Sang-Jin complains to Principle Deok-Saeng (Oh Dal-Su) about the new transfer student's transcripts. Sang-Jin tells him that the guy must be a troublemaker if this is his 4th high school, but Principle Deok-Saeng assures Sang-Jin that the new transfer student is talented and he could help the school win at an upcoming music competition. Then, the door to the principle's office opens and the new transfer student walks in. Their new transfer student is Jang-Ho, whom Sang-Jin already met in the parking lot at the rest stop area. Jang-Ho is an enforcer for a powerful mafia group in Daegu City, but all he really wants to do is sing.

Yoon Sang Hyun to Make a Cameo Appearance in “Pinocchio”

A spokesperson for the makers of SBS drama “Pinocchio” has claimed that that actor Yoon Sang Hyun will be making a surprise appearance in a forthcoming episode of the series.
Speaking to media outlet TV Report on December 15, an unnamed broadcast representative revealed, “Yoon Sang Hyun will be making a cameo appearance on the drama. We will be filming with him today.”
Yoon Sang Hyun will reportedly be playing the part of a lawyer called Cha Gwan Woo, and drama fans will recall that he also played the role of a character with the same name and occupation in 2013 SBS drama “I Can Hear Your Voice.”
Since the initial article from TV Report, Yoon Sang Hyun’s agency has confirmed that appearance.
Yoon Sang Hyun is not be the first “I Can Hear Your Voice” star to make an appearance in “Pinocchio.” In November actress Lee Bo Young made a voice cameo in the show, where she played the voice of a satellite navigation system in a taxi. Actor Jung Woong In also made a cameo appearance early in the drama series.

Plot

Lee Tae Joon (Jo Jae Kyun) is the Public Prosecutor General, a jovial man with a thick Kyungsangdo accent who hums trot songs all day long. He’s got the outward appearance and personality of a gregarious village chief, while hiding an ice-cold disposition underneath. He’s famous for stripping countless prosecutors of their jobs, and has a long history of backdoor illegal activity, which he naturally keeps under wraps.   Shin Ha-kyung (Kim A-joong) is a prosecutor who has refused extremely high-paying jobs at large firms, and instead fights for justice.

Park Jung-Hwan (Kim Rae-Won) is the chief of the anticorruption investigation team for the Supreme Prosecutors' Office. To get to his position, he has made compromises on achieving justice. Park Jung-Hwan then learns that he has a malignant brain tumor and does not have much time to left. To end his life without regrets, he points a gun at corrupt Public Prosecutor General Lee Tae-Joon (Cho Jae-Hyun). Park Jung-Hwan’s ex-wife Shin Ha-Gyung (Kim A-Joong), who is also a prosecutor, knows about Park Jung-Hwan’s situation and helps him.

‘Pinocchio’ takes the lead against competing dramas in same timeslot

SBS TV Wed-Thu drama ‘Pinocchio‘ is proving its might in the ratings war, as it registered 10.1 percent for episode 9 on December 10th. Although it was down by 0.1 percent compared to the previous episode (8), it still managed to become the only Wed-Thu drama to go past the 10 percent mark.
MBC TV ‘Mr. Back‘ started off well, but has since experienced a sharp decline. It gathered just 9.1 percent yesterday night, which was down by 1.3 percent compared to its previous episode last week.
‘Pinocchio’ registered its highest rating last Thursday, as it gathered 10.4 percent for episode 6. ‘Mr. Back’ meanwhile relinquished its hold on top spot on the same day, as it gathered 10 percent.
Meanwhile, KBS 2TV ‘The King’s Face‘ continues to prop up the rear, as it gathered a mere 6.2 percent.

Actress Park Shin Hye will be singing an OST titled ‘Love Is Like Snow’ for her current airing SBS TV Wed-Thu drama ‘Pinocchio,’ and making it the 4th theme song for the drama.
‘Love Is Like Snow’ is described to have a modern rock music style, and is filled with emotions of winter, while displaying the unique refreshing charms of Park Shin Hye at the same time. The song was jointly composed by Park Shin Hye’s brother and guitarist Park Shin Won, Rocoberry’s Roco and Konan. Rocoberry also arranged the song, which is said to describe the feelings of Choi In Ha (Park Shin Hye) for Choi Dal Po (Lee Jong Suk), as she develops an affection for him, but has to get away at the same time because of their family ties. Park Jin Young to Appear on “Roommate” to Support Jackson

Park Jin  Young of JYP Entertainment will be appearing on a future episode of SBS‘ celebrity home-sharing variety show “Roommate.”

According to a broadcast insider, Park Jin Young visited the “Roommate” house in early December and had an opportunity to interact with the members of the house. He decided to visit the house to support his artist, Jackson, who is also a member of JYP’s boy group GOT7.

Jackson is currently promoting GOT7′s latest single “Stop Stop It.” Park Jin Young is appearing on the fourth season of SBS’ audition show “K-Pop Star” as a judge, along with YG‘s Yang Hyun Suk and Antenna Music‘s Yoo Hee Yeol.
